Boston Scientific
Software Engineer II
Arden Hills, MN

Since graduating.

I'm currently building an Android tablet application in Java, Kotlin, and C++ that physicians and Boston Scientific field reps use to program urology devices. My day to day work involves integrating the acquired Axonics codebase into Boston Scientific's engineering and compliance standards after the acquisition. This spans developing new features, addressing CWE and OWASP findings, implementing data encryption and decryption in transit, updating design documentation, writing code to match new requirements, and collaborating with cross functional engineering teams. Every new feature I develop ships with unit tests and instrumented tests.

Before the urology project, I worked as an iOS DVT engineer in Cardiac Rhythm Management, where I implemented XCUITest UI tests and requirement traced automated tests in Swift on an iOS application. I contributed to monitoring a regression suite of 500+ tests across 22 locales toward a 100% pass rate, which included localization testing, feature development testing, and accessibility testing. On device testing was run on physical iPhones through TestFlight builds.

2021 — 2024

University of Minnesota
B.S. Computer Science
Twin Cities

I studied Computer Science at the University of Minnesota's College of Science and Engineering, with a Software Engineering focus. I graduated in three years and made the Dean's List in Fall 2023 and Spring 2024.

Outside of coursework, I played for the WCLA Division 1 Women's Lacrosse team and served on the Board of Directors as Travel Director. I was also active in WISE and SWE, and volunteered as a Welcome Week leader in my second year of college.

Internships

Medtronic — WISE InternSummer 2022 · Mounds View, MN

I interned with the Metrology and Calibration department, where I designed and built a six-page Power BI calibration dashboard that replaced the team's manual tracking process with real-time target numbers and weekly progress. I connected Power BI to the IndySoft calibration database through Oracle and wrote 14 SQL queries to pull the metrics the dashboard required. I automated a daily email report so staff received updated calibration figures each morning without pulling data manually. At the end of the summer, I presented my findings to 80+ Medtronic staff.

I interned with the LATITUDE mobile app team in Cardiac Rhythm Management, where I built a unified test results dashboard that gave engineers one view of both manual and automated test health. I wrote Python tooling against the Jira API to pull manual test results, transformed them into JUnit XML for ingestion by Report Portal, and deployed the whole flow as a scheduled GitLab CI pipeline so new results upload automatically without engineer intervention. The tool was designed to be reusable across other mobile projects at Boston Scientific. At the end of the summer, I presented the solution to 20+ R&D staff.
